The reliable erection of trays, accurate in dimensions and form, is the forte of A+F's tray erectors. Over 20 years experience of field applications demonstrates the extremely high quality and durability of A+F's machines and their leading position in the international market. For example, the servo-driven A+F Speedline machine accurately erects trays at a speed of up to 60 trays per minute.

It is A+F's uncompromising concept of carrying out all folding and forming operations against rigid counterformers which ensures the highly accurate and efficient production of trays. All folding and forming motions are either servo-driven or cam driven.

Utilization of the aforementioned technical advantages has helped A+F to crack a very hard nut: the production of a separable tray which has eight stacking corners. By simply tearing off the centre tab, a 20's tray, for example, can be divided into two separate 10's trays each having four stacking corners. With its accuracy in form and dimensions, this tray system not only offers the flexibility to make the product available in the quantity required but also provides additional stability in pallet building and subsequent transportation.
