Automation's TwinLine Two-Axis Robot provides both speed and flexibility
to end-of-line packaging systems. Specifically designed to overcome
the limitations of standard robot packaging machines, the TwinLine features
an exclusive gripper arm drive with two pairs of drive arms made of
lightweight carbon fiber and driven by two servo motors. This enables
the TwinLine to perform pick and place motions in less than 0.5 seconds,
and the handling of loads of up to 63 kg at a cycle time of less than
2 seconds.
The TwinLine adapts to specific needs for a wide range
of applications, including the collating of primary product, utilizing
a suction or mechanical gripper with additional tilting, turning, or
pushing capabilities. Combined with a scanning unit, the TwinLine provides
precise product orientation for optimum presentation and handling.
